Worming and eggs

We have had our chickens for about a year now and I think it may be time to worm them, just as a precaution, not because I think they have worms. I have bought some Capizol from my vet but the dosage is not clear, how long do we have to wait before eating the eggs again? Has anyone had any experience with Capizol?

Hi Manoir. Capizol (levomisol) has a 30 day egg withdrawal

I'd have to check when I get home, but I think the dosage is 5ml per 1L of water, for one day.

from what I can google (mainly French sites) there is an egg withdrawal period of one month (not sure if this is as a precaution if it isn't normally a poultry wormer or what) but most of us use flubenvet which has no egg withdrawal.

When I first get them, then every six months unless they look like there may be an issue.

I used Flubervet, but they didn't like being in the run for a week

Is Flubervet ok for Ducks as we have them too and they share the water with the chooks

Flubenvet is given with food, not in water
