Title: Potato varieties.
Post by: whiskywill on July 12, 2011, 12:40
Are slugs selective in choosing their favourite potato.

I have a row of Anya next to a row of Sharpe's Express. The haulms at each end of the Anya row have suffered what looks like slug damage. The Sharpe's Express are untouched. Both row ends are next to grass paths.

Any ideas?

yes, slugs love some varieties more than others. The seed catalogues usually tell you which ones are usually slug free...................but they won't tell you which ones they really, really like
