6 lbs Rhubarb,
1 lb raisins (chopped),
1/2 pt of strong tea, or 1 tsp tannin,
3 1/2 lb sugar,
Water to 1 gallon, (hot/warm)
Yeast nutrient and Yeast.
Basically chop rhubarb, pour water over, add the rest - except yeast, dissolve the sugar.
When luke warm add yeast.
Leave to ferment, covered, for a week then strain, and put in a demijohn with airlock.
No idea on how long it will take to mature.

Watch the acidity of the wine when it is being made as too much acid can stop the yeast doing its job. >:( >:( >:(
You may need to get some chalk to add at the start. So if you locate a shop ask if they have any. You will need 1oz to a gallon apparently. Another alternative is cuttlefish bone.

I used to make rhubarb wine years ago, and jsut used the rhubarb on its own with a campden tablet first and the day after the sugar and yeast, you could drink it in 6 months but better in 12 months.....makes a lovely lovely wine
