Oh My God. Its not a chicken. It's a YETI!!! I want one :bounce:  Which is odd as I think crested ducks are ridiculous and can't warm to them.
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

Having had a few batches of eggs from e-bay and getting not a very good return, I think I would go to more reputable places now. I had some white leghorn eggs from one chap and although I got 4 out of 6 hatch (which is good I know), I was'nt very happy in receiving dirty eggs and I politely sent him a message (for his own sake) saying that dirty eggs could transmit certain diseases and got a ratty reply saying that dirty eggs increase fertility :?

some breeders i know dont wash there eggs for that reason  :?

not saying its right or wrong but if you think about it there could be some truth in it

after all the hens dont wash them when they sit them

but i wipe my eggs with water if they are very dirty

So far I've been very lucky

4 out of 6 call ducks hatched
4 out of 6 Buffs hatched
5 out of 6 runner ducks fertile, time for things to go wrong there though only on day 7

So although I only go with buy now's rather than bidding I have no complaints :)

Hmmm, ducks, polands or pekins?  This is too much temptation.
