Title: Chicken Watch
Post by: Barry J Scott on January 28, 2007, 09:18
For anyone on here thinking of getting chickens, I have a blog which I post to about the things happening to me at the moment as a new owner of chickens.  I will post bits of news as they happen but also a weekly update called Chicken Watch aswell.

Feel free to check it out here (http://www.barryjscott.co.uk).

Make sure if you have any questions about chicken ownership to post them here or check
here (http://www.chat.allotment-garden.org/viewtopic.php?t=1688) to see if they have already been answered in muntjac's post.

I have the perfect bit of kit for a webcam, a £800 webcam that can be controlled from the web, unfortunately it is not mine and I will soon be installing it for a friend.

There are some pics and videos on my gallery, updated quite often at the moment.

Thats for the votes.  I know she won't win as someone out there will have loads of people voting everyday, but it is for charity and everyone who signs their pet up and adds pictures contributes.

Hiya

I've just voted for Nugget.  We have 22 baby quails and 5 chooks, and I have only named two - my little superquail is named Chalky, and my chook is Nugget!!

Fingers crossed for Nugget to win!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I honestly do know someone who has a cam set up in this way.  I'm not going to put the url up but it is good (pm me), if you want to check on your flock whilst at work I suppose.

I have a spare cam but need to find somewhere with a view of the garden and it be safe from the weather.

I also have a high quality waterproof webcam with pan tilt and zoom but that is for an install at a friends stables.
