« on: September 10, 2010, 11:59 »
Its been a while since i last posted but i've just found some red sprouting broccli in the back garden that i haven't yet planted out at the allotment, but theres no leaves left on the poor stuff, i can still see it shooting though so i've cut off all the manky bits do you think it might stand a chance or shall i just bin it?

Mine was eaten alive last year by caterpillars and still grew on through autumn and early winter to become healthy plants.  SHame the 2 feet of snow crushed it before it cropped though  ::)

So i would guess that if you get a decent autumn it should be ok.  Worth a shot, no?
