Title: Where do you keep your equipment?
Post by: Mahogony on March 04, 2010, 14:32
Hi All,
I got a wine making kit for himself for Christmas but so far we haven't set it up.
I'm afraid its too cold to start.
Where do you keep you set ups?
My hot press is not big enough.
We do have central heating but don't leave it on at night.
Thanks

In my brewery of course.......

I somehow managed to pursuade 'er indoors to let me build a brewshed last year. It's a real boon as the stuff takes up literally "shed" loads of space anyway.

Hi folks,
Thanks for the feedback.
I am the her indoors but even I wouldn't give me permission to build a brewing shed  :nowink:
We have a little man just starting to crawl so I don't think I could leave the gear in the sitting room :( will have to go back tot he drawing board.

You can get heaters.  I find the best are the ones you stand your brew on.  You can control the temp with a timer.  If it gets too hot turn it off every hour or so.
