There are three signs of old age. The first is your loss of memory, the other two I forget.

I certainly don't miss the steel seat on cold mornings, after all there's a limit to the insulation a tattie sack provides   :tongue2:

Hi all.
Nice tractors you have all got. I was looking for a grey fergy for my acre, but ended up with this.

Bought the plough and gave it a clean up and a paint; just looking for a nice rotovator now.
All the best,
Huzey 8)
All the gear.......No idea!

Looks great. Bet the bucket on the front is handy- dont think you can have one of those on a little grey fergy!. Farm sales are good for picking up bits for tractors, you may get a rotovator at one of these.

Hi Big Jen
Thanks for the compliment on the old major.
The bucket on the front is so handy, and the good news is, you can get them for the fergy too. The original ferguson one is called a bannana loader, because of its shape, and you can also get MIL loaders and Horndraulic loaders for them as well. There is also a low profile type loader that pivots around the front axle area which is designed to load the ferguson muck spreader.
Sorry, must be a bit of a tractor spotter or something
The little grey fergy is a very useful tractor, and the range of implements for them is huge. I rebuilt the engine on one when I was at agricultural college all them years ago.
All the best
Huzey.

Great memories of these great tractors as I served my time as a mechanic on them (petrol petrol/paraffin and diesel).

Hi Shaun
You can get some wonderful attachments for fergies and we have collected quite a few over the years. I dont think a potato earther upper we be much use for my 10 foot row of spuds :!:  Great to see pictures of these little tractors still working for their keep.
