Title: what to do with chamomile
Post by: DellDGM on December 03, 2007, 11:17
I have grown chamomile for the first time this year and It has gone nuts - I know that you can dry and use the flowers but is there anything I can use the leaves for? :)

Flowers only according to my herb book.  Make a tea with chamomile flowers + peppermint leaves.  Oil content (and flavour) is highest on a dry sunny day - do you get many of them?

Compost the rest of the plant or leave in for more flowers.

what about planting it under or near a seat.........or make a lawn from it...as you walk on it, it will smell wonderful.
