is there a device in which you can pour plant food (ie Tomorite) connected to the mains hose line and you can adjust the flow rate of the plant food into the water flow???

You can get Miracle-Grow feeders, which use fertiliser granules.

But I’m considering the “Ortho Dial N Spray MultiUse HoseEnd Sprayer”  which you can use for liquid concentrates too.

I've got a MiracleGrow feeder, and it's impossible to work out the quantities it says it uses, so I gave up a few days after getting it!

Your idea looks pretty good, Aunty!

Does anyone remember being advised to use the kit as a 'foliar feed'? It was supposed to be the best method of using the stuff...

Hello what you are asking about is an inline diluter,we had them in the market garden for feeding tomatoes and cucumbers it's like a 1 gallon sprayer with 2 tubes going in to it one let's water in the other out it only works with the water flowing with the arrows ,our use to dilute from 1/4ounce to 5 ounce per gallon over 12 hours ,the fertiliser was like phostrogen called solinure    have a look at LBS Horticulture they have them   jezza
