Title: Building my own coop!
Post by: TPKIRK on June 05, 2013, 15:05
My mum has just given me two of her sheds.
One which i will be using a tool shed, and one as a coop. (Both of which are similar in size and look to this one (http://www.gardenandbuilding.co.uk/ekmps/shops/angliangarden/images/forest-overlap-apex-shed-6-x4--20267-p.jpg)

I just want to get a few tips and find out what others have done to convert a small garden shed in to a really good environment for chickens.

Your link is incomplete and doesn't work, so if you could fix it, we'd love to see what you have.

As for altering the shed to a coop, here's an interesting video for you HERE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WEV5wkfOTQ)

Although the lady built hers from scratch, you can adapt some of her ideas into your existing shed.
