Again I would suggest looking at Moles Seeds for peas if you can't get to a local nursery. (I pay £3.99 a kilo which, type dependant, gives you up to 6,000 seed).

For a smaller quantity, Moles cost £2.80 for half a kilo (up to 3, 000 seed). You'd pay £9.50 for this quantity from Seed Direct.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

yes ordered all my seeds, tubers and the like a while back when two of my usual online retailers (sutton and TM) had free delivery and half-price seeds etc. I resent paying almost £5 for post and packing when the seeds theselves when at full price are not exactly the cheapest around, but when the offers are on that is when I go mad and clean them out!

I have lists and orders ready to go - just need some cash to come in so I can afford them. As usual I shall buy more varieties than you can shake a bamboo cane at - I know how you feel Mickwood - why do I need 5 types of beetroot!! :D :D never mind the 6 different beans, 5 peas... the list goes on...

I'd settle for being able to see the plot - i.e. NOT under inches of snow please ::) Managed to get there Sunday and get some winter celery and leeks. No chance now again for a while  :(

I bought a load today from a local shop mainly because I wanted something to do since I cannot see me getting anything done on the allotment for at least a week.

i got a phone call the other day, to say that my seeds had arrived.our allotment has a shop on it so i put an order in with the guy who runs it,and they have turned up apart i think from the onions and potatoes they will be a bit later.he said if enough people order we should get a sizable discount too, they come from mr fothergills.
i dont suffer with insanity..........i enjoy every minute of it.
