Hi, I'm new on here, but not new to allotments. I've had mine about 10 years but this year was going to be my last as I was struggling to keep on top of it. Long story short, I put my notice in then went down to sort the shed and get rid of everything....then changed my mind when I spotted the blue tits nesting again in the bird box and a black bird nesting in the blackberries, plus I knew I would miss it all, so hey ho....took my notice out and boy am I glad.
I've always popped on here if I've had a problem and usually some one comes up with the answer, so I thought I should join in with you all and have some fun. :lol:
Also have to say, my partner invested in a rotavator, so that's taken all the back break out of it.

Hi, and thank you for the welcome. It's by far the best decision I've made this year, it's great to get down there in the fresh air and do some honest hard graft but well worth it when it's time to harvest. It's my little bit of sanctuary from the outside world.

Thanks for the comments, not really found my way round this site yet but try and catch up tomorrow. Had glorious sunshine today and a cracking day down at lottie, even managed to earth up potatoes round the bumble bee nest underground between the rows....mind it was a bit precarious at times!!
