Title: grass cuttings

my rhubarb has now rotted down     can i put grass cutting on top of it now    also round young apple tree ty

If you just put them on in a clump without adding anything like paper or cardboard they will turn slimy. Also, don't put it on the crown as it could cause it to rot.
