Title: A good day.

Good weather today on the Lottie. Started to look very iffy at first. Loads of low grey clouds.

Finished clearing the new next door plot( my mums..ahem) early yesterday morning with the view to hire the site rotavator today to sow all my peas. Rotavator double booked. Told the other guy that I can wait till another time as his needs seemed to be greater than mine. He was a lot, lot older.

So instead, I'll get up early each day starting tommorrow & dig/sow a row a day.

Dug a row of spuds, harvested a bunch of Runners & planted some Beetroot & Turnips on our plot instead whilst i detailed my 8 yr old to weed the Onions/Beans. Bless him. :)

PUP!

Good effort mate!

Its good to have support on the plot from the troops! My daughters often pitch in and its great seeing them enjoying nature!

I'd love it if you someone could detail my 9yr son to weed the onions, he's discoved an axe, and spent most of the afternoon impressing the kids on the next plot with his cane hacking skills, whilst I attempted to tame yet another weed infested section of my lottie!!
