 ??? hi guys a bit of advice please
 i now have 4 girls 2 of them i have had for 2 years one of which has started to moult i hope ? she is eating  well not laying , i have checked her over no mites or bugs vent is clean ? i hope it is the moult but is it the right time of year .

I have severel moulting at the moment  :)

Chickens can be so stupid, mine also picked the coldest time of year to moult, feathers everywhere :lol:

thanks for that guys , she seems to be growing them back slowly , should i be giving her anything to help  ( poultry spice ) ?

Poultry Spice is a good idea or Lifeguard in her water. A fishy cat/kitten food is something I have seen regularly recommended on here as well. :)

Anything high in protein helps, mine love maggots that I have left over from fishing  :)

We have had some moulting recently Poultry spice and cod liver oil helped also the dried mealy worms give them a boost. They will soon get the feathers back, they do choose a silly time to moult though.
