I just took delivery of my lovely first  polytunnel yesterday and was planning its layout today.Apologies if this has been covered before but cant find it . 2  and half questions
So I got crop bars but  do people then put another bar at right angles to that one (so there is somewhere to tie in tomatoes the length of the tunnel.) If so Do you prefer wood or another metal pole ?

And I notice on my site quite a few of the polytunnels have flags  fluttering from the top. It appears as if this is just a batten screwed into the wooden frame of the door  (sandwiching the polythene behind) with the flag on top but asking as been extra cautious and don't want top chance ripping the plastic or damaging the polytunnel  in under 48 hours!!!!
