In the past I've trialled two or three of a number of different potato varieties, but I always had trouble finding a supplier of unusual varieties in small quantities. Now I go to the Potato Days. Our local one is too late in the year to be of much use, but I'll be going to the Whitchurch day at the end of January.
If anyone would like me to pick up a few hard to get spuds for them and send them on I'd be happy to. Someone on here did the same for me a few years ago so this is by way of a thank you.
List of potato days http://www.potato-days.net/ (http://www.potato-days.net/). Worth a trip not just for potatoes.

That's very kind of you. If you find any Roseval potatoes, I'd gladly have a small bag :)

That's an interesting web-page - thanks for the link tangojulie
It should be of interest to a fair few people as the areas covered are pretty big.
I have a good family run nursery less than a mile away.... they sell seed potato by weight...as little or as much as you want of any of 44 varieties. All I need is a large field! ;)

No problem, but what is your idea of a small bag? Or if you need a specific number they can be bought individually.

Just 4-5 tubers would do me fine, if you could find them. Thank you

Not a problem, anyone else?
