The weather at the moment is obviously atrocious and my girls run has just turned into a mud bath - its disgusting and they are so dirty - any suggestions as to help this situation - is bark chippings any good?

Are they in a run? if so bark chippings and a roof to cover the run would help, but i have bark chippings in their part of the garden and its a mud bath

I have my run covered over and bark down, its fine but if you are already muddy maybe it will just get trampled in? :blink:

We've got two light sussex and this weather they look more like the rhode islands

I got some Hemcore and put that down to try and keep the girls run etc clean. It's good stuff. Aubiose is very good as well. You get either from the horsey place
