Runner Beans
« on: May 05, 2009, 12:59 »
Hi all
My dad put in some runner beans beginning of April, whats the best thing to feed them on, to help them grow?

Many thanks.

If you put some rotted manure round their feet that will help  :)  Once you see beans forming then you can begin to feed them with some proprietary feed such as Phostregen etc but I like something natural and use seaweed liquid and comfrey tea, oh and they're bedded in muck and home made compost. They are greedy feeders
