I use diluted washing up liquid to spray for these little darlings, and it's very effective. I was wondering if there are any limits on how often you should use it? I've been getting quite a few in the GH and need to use it quite a bit. It doesn't seem to bother the plants, in fact they seem to thrive on it.

I don't know the answer to your question about how often, but I grow Tagetes in my GH and have not been troubled with the beasties. One year, I tried some saved seeds that didn't grow very well and had beasties in there for the first time, so that's my solution to the problem. The Tagetes are just the usual ones you get from nurseries, supermarkets, etc.

I put them in the gh when I put the tommies out to stop whitefly. I never have any problems when they are in. I'm having most trouble with them on my chrysanth cuttings and fresias just at the moment. My home sow tagetes are just beginning to show.
