Alphie's diary

Dear diary .........  drama today!  Had a bit of a handbags moment earlier when Foggie's lot were out.  I was straight over saying 'Wot's up mate - can't you keep your women in line'

He wasn't happy but just stalked off.  One of the girls came over later so tried to whisper to her without him seeing ' Hiya love, you can always roost in my coop if its all a bit much in the big gang '  ;)  She was trying to make it seem like she was ignoring me, but she was listening alright

My girls are far too well bred to be scrapping in the garden like that.  Right proper ladies they are and anyway they know who's the boss.  What's that girls? - what do you mean 'In your dreams'   I do dream of you, you know that   I am not a softie - stop it, you're making me blush   You're both off now aren't you.  No peace for me, so may as well give in gracefully and come and keep you company in the coop.  By the way, exactly how long is this nesting business going to last ......  ::)

Foghorn's diary

Lovely sunny day and we were all dustbathing in the run, when you know who had to come over causing trouble.  Marched over, looked him straight in the eye and told him how it is

If that wire wasn't there I'd teach him a lesson he wouldn't forget in a hurry  ;)  There's those who pose and those who knows in this world and I knows   The girls were quite impressed with my macho display ....... yes you were girls, stop laughing you ratbags. Oh I see, if I can wangle some treats out of mum, you'll be impressed and not before.  Flippin' women  ::)

Mum shouted at us to stop fighting, so looked innocent as she walked over to see what we were up to.

Think I got away with it ......  ;)  Now while she's here, lets wind her round my wingtip.  Oh mum, its awful hot today.  What about a nice apple for us to peck  :)

Alphie's diary

Well been a while diary, but lots to tell.

I had a bit of a funny turn a few weeks back.  Mum found me collapsed in the run and I spent a couple of days indoors being pampered.  Was OK but was glad to get back to the girls  :)  Upside is that I only have to put my head down and look a bit sad and mum's rushing out to see if I'm OK.  Its driving Foghorn mad

Never did work out what happened, but not much wrong now as you can see  :D

Mum was in the garden all afternoon, so we had a good long rummage round.  Usually the last thing she does before she goes in is fetch the nice seeds to tempt up back into our run, so soon as I saw her go into the house I got the welcome party ready  :)

Crop full of seeds later and we're tucked up in the coop ready for bed  :D

Foghorn's diary

Afternoon diary.  Just checking in as Beyonce my blue orp girlie was a bit off colour today and mum took her indoors for some TLC.  She kicked off apparently, as mum came back out for Yoda, my serama girl, to keep her company.  Grew up together those two, so best of friends.

Ah yes, Yoda has texted me.  She says Beyonce is feeling a bit better and has drunk lots of water and eaten quite a bit now.  Mum has checked her over and can't find much wrong.

Yoda loves being in the house, so she's happy.  She says she's had loads as mum was trying to get Beyonce eating.  They've had pellets, corn, meal worms, grapes and some of the special budgie seeds mum uses as treats or to get us eating if we are ill.  I've texted her back to tell her to take a breath.  Look at the size of the crop on her  ::)

Yoda reckons they are staying in tonight and is boasting she has a luxury bedroom with room service every time she chucks or squawks.   Hope Beyonce feels better soon,  She's my favourite to snuggle up to as she's so warm and fluffy.

I reckon Yoda put her up to it just to get in after the snow yesterday.  We all hated that and spent most of the day in the coop, only venturing out when we saw mum in the kitchen so we could yell for food   ;)
