Marshal's alter-ego... TOASTER KITTY!!
Any time Mrs. Sub_P runs the vacuum, Marshal goes to the kitchen and hides on top of the toaster. When vacuuming is done, I clean out and disinfect the toaster.
If I run the vacuum, I usually just put the cat in another part of the house and close off the kitchen.
