Title: Soft egg

We have a chicken - well we assume it's the same one - who has laid a soft egg three or four times in the last week - we have 5 hens altogether  - they have plenty of grit in their meal and are free range so quite at a loss really and all the other eggs are ok...can they have occasional blips like this ?- they all look well and perky although before the first soft egg was laid one was quite lethargic but for a little while ..but can't tell which one it was now !
