Spring is wonderful  :D  A time of hope and new starts whatever else is happening in the world.  For all gardeners and plot holders it is a chance to get exercise and fresh air, stay fit and healthy and do something useful, while keeping their distance from others. 

As for your scorn of the garden centre purchases, well women know stuff and generally have a plan that comes together in the end.  Those bright spring flowers will nourish your soul over the next few weeks, in ways that food could never do  :tongue2:  :D

It's a standing joke here - more blinking compost material - but I'd be heartbroken if Val stopped.
