I went into Instore - used to be Poundstretcher - and they were selling Shallots - Red Sun and Golden Gourmet - 15 in a pack for 99p and Red Barron Onions 75 in a pack also for 99p.  They had some others but can't remember the names

Yes, they had them in our local store as well.. got Red Baron. Just need the soil to dry out a bit so I can put them in. Brill bargain!!

I'm not planting them yet - have them out of the bag in a cool ligh place ie the porch, so they shouldn't sprout yet.(Fingers crossed)
