Title: Jelly in chicken poo
Post by: Debf on June 27, 2021, 10:23
Hi
I’m a new chicken mum and today my chicken had jelly like stuff in her poop. Is this ok and is there anything I can do for it. She has not laid an egg for around 4 months. She was picked on by other chickens at school and lost a lot of feathers so brought her home and she is looking really healthy feathers grown back apart from her bottom is still a bit bald. She is eating and drinking fine. Thank you x

It looks like some shedding of interstitial lining, or coral coloured urates.  Quite normal and nothing to worry about.  Just keep an eye on her.
