Just got an email through from them to help all of those seed aholics out there.
Delivery I think is £1.99 for seed but seems to still work out quite good value as it is apparently across their entire range.
The code is: TNE426 (not available in conjunction with any other offer).
If anyone can reccomend me anything on the seed front that will cheaply fill quite a large flower bed I'd be most grateful - oh and it needs to be fairly chicken proof as well !

Premier Seeds, on eBay, might work out cheaper (if that is the main criteria). 99p / packet and 40-something-P postage
-
I "saved" £19 on standard price for my 10 pkts of seed I didn't really need. I just have a low resistance to seed offers.
-
I've now completely rethought my earlier reply! and it seems an ideal offer to find packets that are expensive - F1 seeds like all-female Cucumbers typically more than £1 per seed, for example.
I can imagine customers using the High-Low price sort a lot today !!
-
Indeed! I did - and 4 of my packets were listed at over £3 :D (A price I wouldn't have paid! )
-
Thanks for this link Willow Warren. I got £31.00 worth of seeds for £10.00 this morning.
The code would not work on line so I rang them and they took my order by phone -- worth the effort imho :D
-
Premier are now selling Sungold F1 (10 seeds for £1.29 + P&P). :D
-
Notcutts are selling T and M seeds - and also others - at half-price!
Bought the lot there a couple of days ago!
I can't understand their game, but there you are!
(We wanted T and M as they have the leeks we grow, and nobody else does)!
-
cant believe I'am reading this, would not want to admit how much I've paid for my
t,m seeds. I'll hold fire next year. Lesson learnt.

Don't beat yourself up, Hiccups, Mrs Growster and I didn't even notice the offer poster until after we'd bought the ones we wanted!
I just don't understand why they bring their treasured products to market right at the beginning of the season, and then immediately offer them at half price!
But then, I'm a simple Growster, and such things are beyond me..;0)
-
Oh... no I have a list of 13!!

Oops I had one down twice - chopped it down to 10 now as well! Really had too many sunflowers on the list!

When they suddenly wake and realise that there's not much money in most people's pockets and their prices were too high for the current market ::)

Thanks for posting this Hannah. I now have some pricey seeds for not much money (saved £24) for 2016. Very happy as sweetcorn was one of the first things that went in the Wyevale seed sale and I missed them. :D
-
Just deciding which peas and which french beans to buy, then my list will be complete!
The peas and bean are for my dad and he didn't say what he wanted just "peas and beans", so he'll get what ever I decide is best for him!

Might be worth considering Moles Seeds for Sweetcorn. Typical packet size for F1 is 30-35 seeds, Moles sell 250 seeds for £3 for the more expensive F1s, and nearer £2 for the regular F1s ...
Moles used to be carriage free (except for Peas, Beans and Green Manure, hopefully still is? )

That's a good point Kristen, and one I never, ever remember! D'oh!

Me too! I buy several packets in the 50p-a-packet sale - proudly congratulating myself on my savings! - and then figure out that a simple bulk-buy would be cheaper :)
-
Moles are always my first port of call - as I'm always saying! However, I do appreciate not everyone wants the quantity you get in even their smallest packet.
