Hi, Do many people use grow lights? I am new to gardening but really enjoy it. I have sown odds and ends for the first time, but I dont have a south facing garden and am struggling for light. I am only a novis. After reading various bits I wonder if I should purchase a cheap grow light to help my ssedlings. Can anybody recommend a cheap effective one

Hi Casper, I've never used growlights myself, as I'm a frugalist, and using any sort of power which has to be paid for is a no no for me.  I'd rather wait until the weather and light levels improve before I start, although I do have a few bits sown which are in the bubblewrapped greenhouse underneath my staging which is bubblewrapped!

But professional nurseries use them!
