Some of my sprouts have got flowers on them, can anyone tell me why? :ohmy:

Too dry would be my guess. Most plants will flower when stressed, especially by drought.

They've bolted & run to seed. The plant has run it's (premature) course, I'm afraid.

Out of interest, when did you put them in? It's very early for this to happen.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

About 6 weeks ago, but they haven't all bolted, i bought them as plants from Victoriana nurserys :mellow:

May have been a little early, that makes it about the end of April, I would not normally put mine in until end May, early June.

However, the stop/start/hot/cold/wet/dry I think has not helped!

Are you sure they're sprouts? Maybe they've been mislabled? Have you got a photo?

I am reasonably sure they are sprouts but i will get a photo next time i go to plot but not sure how to get it from my phone to this web site :wub:

My husband would have rejoiced if ours last year bolted, he isnt keen on the humble sprout.

Only trouble on our plots last year they were all ready in september/october its just not right having sprouts outside of december  :wub:
