Can any one explain what a Ranger chcicken is?

It's a little brown chicken bred by the Meadowsweet company. Cross between a RIR and ...... something else  ::)

They are lovely hens very productive and with an inquisative and friendly nature

Would these be the same then ? Or is ranger just another name for cross breed ?

A meadowsweet ranger is a specific hybrid bred by that company.
