Where are they???

I take Lake out for a walk/ run ever morning on playing fields near us. The council in July do not cut the grass and allow clover to flower, in years gone by thousands of bees would be buzzing around but this year I have noticed a severe drop in them.

This morning I counted just 25 and we was on the field for around 25 minutes, not good to see!

I saw a few earlier on but not lately. Have seen some hoverflies though.
