Mountfield M1 - looks a good buy but no spark !!

Local guy has a wide Mountfield for sale, but having advertised it, he then realised he hadn't checked that it would start !!

There's no spark.

Just how much of a gamble is taking it as is, clearly at a low re-negotiated price. Judging by the B & S engine number it is a 1970 build.

its probably just the points needing cleaning and re-gapping.
