Irrigation for polytunnel
« on: June 06, 2015, 20:54 »
Not sure if this is the right forum to start a post, however here goes anyway.

I have a solar panel and a battery which I could use to power an irrigation pump using water from the rainwater butt to irrigate my polytunnel via soaker hose.

The question is what sort of a pump would people recommend, is it possible to find a pump with a timer, giving a set period of irrigation each day?

Sure I've seen something on here about a solar irrigation system but can't remember where I saw it but think the name of the firm was Irrigatia.
I work very hard so don't expect me to think as well.

Yes GG that's right.  It does have a timer on it.  I use it for my poly but with drips not a soaker hose.
