5 10 10 or 8 16 16 fertiliser anyone know of a nice cheep place to get it from? tbh I have never put fertiliser in the ground before for my spuds, just horse manure then left them, I was thinking its an easy way of getting a higher yield this time, and give it a try, do you think its worth doing and spending the ££ on it, or just keep adding free manure?

I get organic potato fertiliser from Poundland.  1kg for a pound.  Used it for several years now with good effect.

don't you make chips from the potatoes?  . I use the Poundland stuff, works well, i've also bought BFB and Growmore there @£1 box. I always pick one up when passing so I accumulate quite a bit without noticing the cost
