Has anyone used "watering Spikes" ?

How did you get on with them? Did they work or are they a waste of money

For some reason I can't see the picture, but if it's the spike that you attach to a plastic water bottle then the answer is yes and no.  I've got two different types, one seems to work fine whereas the other only worked once you put a few more holes into the spike.  The existing holes clogged up with dirt and somehow the water just wasn't going through.

Photobucket no longer works with third party websites such as these, so can't see the picture.

If you mean spikes that connect to a watering tube that comes from a reservoir, for example, with one spike per pot, then they work well.
