Hello everyone
I am new to this site but not a new gardener. I have spent many years failing at gardening and 3 years ago started failing at an allotment. However I am not in the slightest bit disheartened and this year have more plans than ever before. Dec - Feb saw me off work recovering from a knee operation and during this time I read and plotted and now have spinnng around in my head perennial veggies, more fruit bushes, no-dig gardening, using sea weed and saving seed. Am ashamed to say that none of these things had really occured to me before. I have two half plots on a nearby allotment and this year want to try lots of different things. This site seems to me a wonderful resource and I only knew about it because of reading a blog by serbie100 (thank you) . So 'hi all' it's very nice to be here.

Hi and welcome
Be careful that Surbie will make you a seedaholic or even worse will suggest you grow Squash!

Welcome to the site and good luck this year!

Hi there finnfrenz and welcome. I must warn you that growing veggies and all the surrounding activities does become addictive, and in joining this forum you have taken the first step lol.
All joking aside, it is good to have somewhere that is inspiring as well as filled with information and (usually) sound advice from likeminded folk.
I hope this season brings you some successes you can share with us!

Welcome/Croeso finnfrenz
I know Caerphilly very well, my Mam is from Bargoed (although I live in Dinefwr), and I worked in Ystrad Mynach for a while.
Cheers
