Best netting for a fruit cage
« on: December 05, 2010, 21:09 »
I'm building a fruit cage but not sure on what size of mesh for the netting. I want to keep the birds out  but let the bees and other insects in. The roof will be on a roller so i can open it in the winter to let the birds eat any pests etc.  Any suggestions?

Have a look at the Harrod Horticultural shop (easy link through the Allotment Shop link below banner at the top of the page).  They do very good quality stuff including fruit cages, and it'll give you some ideas I expect.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

But it is in bold font for no apparent reason.  There is no need to be rude, Tony.
