Dandelions

Am I correct in saying that chooks will eat dandilions. Looking out of the window heere at work, there are hundreds of them....I'll get picking!! Mike

Humans can eat them and our ducks love them, not an expert on chooks though

ours go mad or them, we break them up a bit and place in seperate places in the run, as they fight over them, as before, make sure they have not been sprayed

Mine love them. If they are in the covered run for the day I tie a big bunch up and hang it from the roof! It's almost as much fun as watching them with a marrow.

Not just dandelions!!! mine adore clover........where I take the dogs out, there are loads of clumps of clover.......I fill the (empty)

poopy bags, they love it.

mine seem to only eat the leaves. They left the flowers. Fussy girls.

SAme with mine, they only like the leaves, and i have blooming loads! Oh well. I am glad to hear they are full of calcium.
