Need some help please. 

Is the Alfalfa you buy as green manure the same as the sprouting variety ?

Can you eat the green manure type ?

I'm looking to grow Alfalfa as a feed for a pet.

I meant to post this in grow your own, having a bad day on another forum. 

Mod's on there are not good'uns like you guy's, you stamp on bullies, they are all clicky & let them be.

I'm looking at another lizard (well Birthday pressie) looking at what I can grow him. The Americans say alfalfa, hence my questions.

They also say watercress, so any tips on landcress appreciated

Water cress is quite easy to grow, spottymint.

My Dad grew it from a few of the stems off a bunch from the supermarket, which rooted really quickly in a glass of water.
 
He had it at the side of his pond then for years

Thanks, sunshineB, looking at Chilterns catalogue, they provide instructions with their seeds.

Will maybe try rooting some too.
