I've just harvested the last of my sweetcorn and I'm wondering whether to cut the plants down or leave them be for awhile? I have squash growing underneath them so was wondering if it would be better to give them more light? When the squash are ready I'm going to green manure the area

If you think they are shading any squash then cut them, otherwise I wouldn't bother

If you aren't going to harvest any more from them, I would cut them down and remove them so their roots don't deplete nutrients for the squashes.

No there are no more to harvest, I think I'll cut them down thanks xx
