I noticed the exact mini greenhouse I bought for £15 in Wilkos is advertised £12.95p!

Blimey!!
These for £1.99 a pack!
I paid about four times that in Wyevale the other week.
Wish I lived near an Aldi now!!

Good beer, good BBQ and good friends.

I like the look of the windowsill greenhouses - what a fantastic idea to design a seed tray that actually fits on a window sill!

Well I was up early and headed off to aldi, and found the crowd around the gardening section.  I bought 2 fruit packs (from which I want the gooseberries, red and green and the others will go to my friend) a few seed packs-it would be rude not to!

I also got one of the mini green houses, with 4 tiers which cost the same as the 3 tier.  Great stuff.

It was selling so quickly though, get yourselves down there if you want anything.

What kind of stores are these Aldi, Wilkos and Wyevale? We don't have them in Canada.

Aldi are a cheap supermarket (German i think) that every Thursday and Sunday put on specials (dependant on time of year can be gardening, fishing, d.i.y, cycling, etc...) Lidl are the same but Swedish.
Wilko's (short for Wilkinsons) are a kind of home and garden centre/supermarket specialising in cheap tools, decorating goods cleaning products and seasonal goods i.e gardening, Christmas deco's, bbq's.
Wyevales are a garden centre chain sometimes have some bargains but majority of goods are a bit pricey.

Just been to Aldi and purchased my 1st soft fruit for the lottie :D  :D
now have 2 blackcurrant bushes, 2 Gooseberry bushes, 9 raspberry canes and a Tayberry??(pack says cross between raspberry an blackberry) considering the price £5.97 for the lot if I don't like the Tayberries I'm sure if i let the birds have them they'll leave all my others alone
Brought the soil testers as well but not too sure they are worth £3.99 as I've just put the Moisture one in water and it indicated borderline between dry and moist :!:
