Title: potatoe bags

ime planning on growing my spuds in bags this year, what soil do i use ? grow bag soil with well rotted manure added or what wold you suggest

I would add some top soil too (for mineral content).  Do not add lime.

I'm just using general compost! but its my first time! :wink:

Gets to be expensive.  Manure and/or topsoil in the mixture helps keep the cost down. :D

it would be but local garden centre was closing down and got 100 litre bags for 50p each (got 10)
