Anyone know what this is? its like a mold on the back of the leaf, and bumps on the front, is there a cure for this, as we eat them, and it would be a big loss if we didn't have any this year? thanks

That looks like mealybug. Can you see any small white creatures that look like a woodlouse?

No bugs on them at all, but researching I found "Downy Mildew" looks like it might be that, can be cured with baking soda, baby shampoo, and cooing oil, I will make some up 2morrow and see if that sorts it out

The puckering of the leaves suggests it is something actually 'eating' the leaves, so insect damage. Mildews tend to cause surface damage which leads to curling or eventually browning. Does it feel dry or slightly sticky/slimy, dry would suggest mildew, sticky/slimy I would still go with mealybug.

It certainly isn't going to hurt to spray with what you are suggesting so give it a go.

Last year (from reading on the web) the leaf will brown, and there is like a mold on the back, they tend to go blotchy yellow as well, apparently its a water born thing, and after rain they will come alive again
