A good Shrub and Tree Book
« on: March 08, 2010, 23:21 »
Hi,

I'm looking for a good book that will tell me how to create large shrub borders with a lot of interest all year to try and break up the boring lawn, I need a book that will say theese are the plants you need this is how you plant them this is the conditions they require.

I'm fed up of all theese tv and celebrity gardeners in magazines, on tv and online standing proudly in front of their spectacular borders and lush green lawns and they seem relucant to share with people how they achive this !Look at this mans border  for example - http://www.martinfish.com/ the website header ( he's a gardening expert on a radio show and various other things I've seen/listened to on the internet - mainly bbc)

Any recommendations ?

Thanks

If you want to be happy for a short time - get drunk.

If you want to be happy for a long time - fall in love.

If you want to be happy forever - take up gardening!
