Title: Making a photo album problem.
Post by: Goosegirl on December 06, 2023, 08:54
I'm doing a "My Memories" photo album for my husband as a Christmas present so I bought him a lovely leather-bound A4-size one. Currently I have got 44 selected pics but the trouble is it only has 39 pages. I don't want any A4-sized ones, so could do two per page but then I'd be left with 17 empty ones. The only thing I can think of is to put them in sections, i.e. insert a title page for, say, home, garden etc, but that won't use up the 17 pages. My maths isn't the best and my brain is a bit frazzled at the moment so any creative suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Have you got any other paper mementos you could use?

Tickets for concerts, guide book pamphlets, wedding or christening invites, or maybe download and print internet pictures of places that mean a lot to him?

What about interspersing with some of your poetry?

What lovely ideas. If I can find his medals which he's won for shooting antique muzzle-loading rifles over the years at Bisley and abroad I could scan them in. He still holds a world record for one of these. Snows - I gave him some appropriate poems only the other day - BUM! Some pics are in portrait and some in landscape so I'll have a re-think then let you know. Thanks for your help.
