Chaps,

I'm looing to buy some fleecing and or netting for protection but wonder what I should get.

There are several types on Ebay with ASG / GSM rating etc. What should I be going for?

Also, what you want it for. Fleece is better for cold protection and against tiny insects(flee beetle, carrot fly, etc).

Against butterfly, bird damage, etc. a wider mesh is OK, this is also necessary if crop needs pollinating, like fruit.

The thin flexible green mesh sold in Wilkos that says it protects against birds and BUTTERFLIES - lies, all lies!  3 years ago my brocolli got demolished by caterpillars because the cabbage white still managed to get through it! :shock:

Jeez, shoot the typo guy or what  :oops:

I meant looking to buy but you already know that..

So I'm wanting it for all round insect protection really, and to ward of some colder days etc.  What type is best guys..?
