pretty birds, but can I just say that cockerel is not an araucana (wrong comb) and the female might be a crele coloured one although her colouring isn't quite correct.

Please also cut the grass as it is too long - they could end up crop bound.
Staffies are softer than you think.

Very nice... though I agree with Joyful, the cocerel isn't an araucana (wrong comb, no muff, beard or ear tufts.  He also has a rather magnificant tail, which araucanas tend not to have (being a naturally rumpless breed, when they do have tails, their tail feathers are generally quite understated).

The pullet looks quite araucana ish, but wheaten is a rare colour, especially in the UK (and her neck hackles are too dark to be a true wheaten).

However, unless you are planning to breed or show, all that matters is that they are healthy and happy - which they appear to be :)

The British Araucana does have tails (rumpless is rare over here) however if you take a look at these photos you will see your girl appears to be a mix of blue/red and crele:-

you may be lucky and soon get lovely blue eggs which although there is no difference in taste look sooo pretty in the kitchen  :)
