My coop and run has arrived and is up and running just to get some hens now. They say easy assembly well yes if all the things fitted like they should ::) my partner spent the whole afternoon moaning how he could build a whole one from scratch and it would have been way better than the flat pack. Well bit late now >:( ::) Seriously though you guys were so right when you said a coop that says for 6-8 birds usually means for 3 lol. It looks a bit plain at the mo though is there any safe paint i can use on my coop??

Ronseal fence paints are fine just check the label and make sure it is dry before your hens arrive.

way to go girl! You'll soon have your hens in and laying lovely eggs!
Joyfull always says that if a paint or preservative is safe for bats, it will be safe for chooks!
But I've seen them in all different colours too!
