Here’s what I took photos of in the garden yesterday or New Years Eve! I’m sure I’ve never had snowdrops up this far before, although to be fair, most of my others are in a woodland corner & very shady, not sure I recall planting these ones there but I must have done as it’s not just a random blown in seedling  :D

That looks like calendula (the orange plant) - can it really be, at this time of year?!

I spotted these daffodils on a site last week... now they are really early!

I spotted these daffodils on a site last week... now they are really early!

There were 3 in flower on a bit of waste ground on my way to the plot yesterday, today I noticed that 1 was broken off, & 1 was flattened :( . I then noticed that the shrubs a bit further on had all been pruned (by the council or sub contractors) it would appear they’d been trampled on, such a shame and I had been going to take a photo to post on here when they were a bit more open.
